Summer music programs for young musicians and vocalists who want to push themselves to the next level. Join a rock band, vocal group or drumline and perform at Festival in the Park on September 21st, 2024!
What is We Rock all-stars?
Students can elevate their musical journey with our summer group classes: We Rock Band, Voices, and Drumline—tailored programs designed for budding young musicians eager to excel. Our seasoned teaching professionals lead participants to embark on a transformative musical experience from June to September. Through immersive group sessions and personalized one-on-one lessons, musicians cultivate teamwork, surmount individual learning hurdles, and unleash their full potential. Culminating in a dazzling performance at Festival in the Park, a cherished Charlotte tradition, this program promises to ignite passion, foster growth, and showcase the extraordinary talents of our rising stars. Auditions are June 1st, 2024!
To participate in our advanced summer music program students must:

Be enrolled in weekly music lessons at We Rock Charlotte from June 17th - September 26th, 2024

Commit to attending weekly 2 hour group rehearsals.

Attend and successfully pass the audition on June 1st, 2024. Click here to view the audition rubric.

The program fee ranges from $250 to $500 on a sliding scale basis. Payment plans are available upon request.

Loaner instruments are available upon request.

Scholarships are offered. RSVP for the audition and then apply.
All-star Programs
We Rock Band
For grades 6-12. All participants will be scored using the same grading rubric.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays starting June 10th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
Participants must be able to make the majority of band rehearsals to participate.

We Rock VOICES
For grades 4-12. All participants will be scored using the same grading rubric.
Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays starting June 10th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
Participants must be able to make the majority of choir rehearsals to participate.

We Rock Drumline
For grades 4-12. All participants will be scored using the same grading rubric.
