1st - 12th graders get hands on experience creating their own songs and music videos during one-on-one music lessons.
Kids (4th - 8th Grade), teens (9th - 12th Grade) and adults expand upon those concepts through a social justice lens in monthly group workshops.
You can participate by signing up for music lessons before January 11th, 2025 and/or by registering for our pay-what-you-can workshops and working in groups to collaborate smaller scale projects.

Write a song, record audio & video, produce it and celebrate! Create your project from start to finish with the guidance of industry professionals in this Jan-May 2025 program for children, youth and adults through We Rock Charlotte. The program culminates in an epic event where all the music videos are shown in a movie theater!!!
Music Lab Students are automatically enrolled (at no extra charge). Scholarships available.
